Yes it sound%26#39;s kind of wired, but sometimes I prefer the quiteness and comfort just to enjoy the games alone. I heard the channels offered on the hotel rooms are rather limited, which hotel offer the best soulotion for wathcing football (live broadcasts) in your room?
(Football = real football, not soccer)
EK
Watching football in the hotelroom...I don%26#39;t think you are going to find what you are looking for. The casino hotels don%26#39;t want you sitting in your rooms and channel selection is very limited in all of them. About the only sport channel you will find is standard ESPN.
Watching football in the hotelroom...Ek,
We like the comfort of our room too, but not for playing football...
most hotels will have fox, cbs, nbc and espn those are the stations that carry the nfl they also will have a limited ncaa football schedule
Should have added this. Stay in a biz class hotel like Residence Inn or Embassy Suites located off-strip. These have expanded cale services. But you have to give up being located in tourist areas.
Wynn has the biggest selection of channels I%26#39;ve seen. They have all regular cable channels (ESPN, MTV, etc).
vegas hotels have pretty sorry cable selections. at every other hotel in the US there is an episode of law and order or full house on at some point all night. in vegas, all i could find at 3 am were infomercials.
Every hotel is going to have basic cable with the networks (CBS, ESPN, NBC, ABC) that show football, so I wouldn%26#39;t worry about it.
If you don%26#39;t care what game is shown, there should be a least two games available on a Sunday. Every hotel I%26#39;ve used in Vegas had CBS, FOX, NBC and ESPN, who all have broadcast rights. I have no idea what teams normally are shown locally in Vegas since they don%26#39;t have a local team. I wouldn%26#39;t pass up the chance to see multiple games at once in the sportsbook, though.
real football???? get a life
';Every hotel is going to have basic cable with the networks (CBS, ESPN, NBC, ABC) that show football, so I wouldn%26#39;t worry about it.';
Exactly. I really don%26#39;t understand the comments about staying in off-strip hotels and ';sorry cable selections';.
The games you want will be on regular television stations carried by every hotel in town. No need to seek out anywhere special to watch NFL football.
