where can we drive from vegas ?

hi guys,

arriving on a sunday into vegas booked till friday morning, we are hiring a car where could we drive to stay overnight fri/sat nights back to vegas for afternoon flight ?

any advice much appreciated if not should we stay in vegas all the week and drive to local sights.

You could go to Laughlin about 2 hours from Vegas and stay there and visit Oatman from there ( old town with burros roaming around) and poss take the boat trip from Laughlin to Lake Havasu City and see London bridge. Or drive there even on a day trip from Laughlin. You could even go to the Grand Canyon comfortably in two nights. There are lot%26#39;s of options for you best check the maps and see what you like the look of! You could drive from Vegas to the canyon then you could stay one night in Flagstaff then on to Laughlin for the second night with a short 2 hour drive back to the airport.

It depends on how far you%26#39;re willing to drive. The Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Los Angeles and San Diego are all within a 4 hour drive.

Grand Canyon, Bryce, or Zion National Parks. You could do a trip to Death Valley as well. Don%26#39;t forget the usual day trips: Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Lake Mead.

I have been to most places around Vegas and the suggestion of Zion is a good one, we thought it was nicer than the Grand Canyon and we stayed in Mesquite at the Casabanca hotel and casino which had a great pool and pretty good rooms aswel.

Forget to put on the drive to/from Vegas you pass the Valley of Fire on the way to Mesquite/ Zion and that is really worth the time beautiful landscapes.

I think trying to get in Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon would rush things a bit. Better to do Zion and Bryce or the Grand Canyon. My preference is Zion and Bryce. I think photos never do Zion justice.

How long of a drive would Zion and Bryce be? Could you do it as a day trip? Could you see both in one day?
