MGM Grand - Winning Slots/VP

Going to Las Vegas in 2 days and staying at the MGM grand.

Dont play alot of slots or VP but after reading alot of posts on this forum I have decided I need to broaden my gambling experience lol

So could you all post what slot machines are your favourites inside the MGM and where abouts they are, obviously if anyone knows of any loose slots or ones where they have won alot that would be great as well?!

Also if anyones knows where exactley in the MGM i could find 9/6 VP that would be great as well??

Hoping to win big this trip (as always lol) so any help/advise appreciated!!

Just as a footnote, does anyone know if the High Limit slots are good at paying or do they just take your money faster than the standard slots?

I personally don%26#39;t go near slots but you should read this before doing any serious playing:

Even with my limited experience, I know that your question regarding which slots are loose is impossible to answer. Opinions on which slots are loosest or %26#39;the best%26#39; are invariably going to be determined by an individual%26#39;s good fortune or otherwise.

Whatever happens, good luck!

With slots~ it%26#39;s all luck. Everyone has different experiences on where they have hit on the slots.

I play mostly VP but i don%26#39;t gamble much at the MGM. You can read the payout%26#39;s on the front of the VP machine before you play to see what kind of payout%26#39;s they have.

I stayed at MGM 2 weeks ago.

The only slots I play are wheel of fortune and had the best luck on the 50cent machine. They are located on the wall opposite the lions den. There are only about 6 and if you are standing facing these machines, the second from the right was my lucky machine.

I hit 1000 on the bonus spin ($500) and another $150 within five minutes. I went by later that day and someone else was playing that machine who also hit 1000 on the bonus spin.

I know life is about time and place but this machine worked for me.

Make sure it%26#39;s the wheel of fortune and not the imitation wheel of gold or pot of gold??

One last thing, the 25cent WoF at MGM were pretty good too. Just go to the machine that gives you a vibe.

Good Luck!

cant recommend any specific slots at mgm,had so so luck there, but as far as high limit areas ive never had any luck anywhere.

In theory i thought well maybe they might be looser but ive had better luck playing same denomination machines in normal slot areas

I dont think MGM Grand has any 9/6 Payout VP.

Not sure how up to date this is:

I like the Lion%26#39;s Share progressive at MGM. It is the last machine and it is up over $2 million. The casino can not remove it until it hits. I always make a special trip to MGM just to run $100 through the machine.

It is a $1 machine on the end of main aisle---on the row where the $5 WOF machines are. The first time I had to ask for directions, but now I can walk right to it. You can see Tabu from the machine--will be facing it when you are sitting at the machine.

It pays out in coins, so if you decide to cash out keep that in mind. I wouldn%26#39;t mind a couple of mil in coins, but I have gotten it up to a couple of hundred before.

Good luck!

My experience.... a %26#39;winning%26#39; machine one trip is a big fat loser the next.

water, if you get down on cash and very thirsty, try these....

Betty Boop nickel machines close to the buffet, across from the Lion Habitat. They are situated right next to the waitress station inside the wall, so cocktail waitresses cruise by often, so drinks are plentiful. The restrooms are very close, too! Just passed the waitress station.

Enjoy your stay at the MGM

there are very few places to find 9/6 JoB VP on the strip. they can only be found at MGM i $1+ denominations.

we love to play VP and we are staying at the MGM, but we plan to do all of our gambling elsewhere.
