Voodoo Lounge-you have to pay?!?!?!?!

I got the impression it was lounge and you could just go up for a drink and they did food too (the layout on website looks quite bistro/restaurant as it is).

But from other posts I see its a nightclub too, with a cover charge?? how does that work? What if you are already in there before they start charging? If anyone can tell me the setup I would be grateful.

There is a cover charge after a certain time (not sure if it is 8pm or not). Before then, you can just take the elevator up and have a drink at the bar and look at the view. They do dinner up there also (no cover).

Last visit we timed our dinner reservation for an hour after sunset.

We arrived early, grabbed a witchdoctor and went out to the deck to enjoy the sunset. Had dinner (it was good but not outstanding) and then stayed around for a few hours after that to enjoy the transition from lounge to nightclub.

When we came back down around 11pm the line to get in was HUGE.

Keep in mind the free pass is only good Sun-Thur and only before 10pm.

Sunday thru Thurs before 10pm %26amp; ALSO when there is not a special event going on........which is OFTEN!!! Check their site for details, as they are listed!!

I%26#39;m sure many folks got shot down, and ended up having to pay once they got to the door, cause of one of these ';events';!!!

Yep but even if you have to pay this bar has the most amazing views I have ever seen.
