Has anyone ever rode a motorcycle on the Red Rock loop?

I%26#39;ve seen many motorcycles go through RRC on most of my trips there.

Nice area etc but disappointingly short trip - though very easy

Now I was incredably jealous of a bunch of riders driving the Valley of Fire / Lake Mead route on Harleys!!!

Thats a run worth of doing!

Thanks for the info. BF is riding his Harley out there %26amp; I thought it would be nice to take a day and go riding.I%26#39;m packing my helmet!

How far is Valley of Fire? Would that be a better ride?

Valley of Fire is about an hour away. It is a much better place-for everything. It is much larger and certainly more interesting. RRC is nice but not nearly as nice as VOF. Bring your own water if you go. The scenery is absolutely stunning. This is where I hope to go for my first bike ride! I have been there many many times-but never on a bike.
