AAA Question..

Hello everyone got a question that I hope someone can help me with. I found a GREAT deal thru AAA 1200 bucks for air and hotel at TI for 4 nights. So my question is will the hotel know what I paid for the room or will they only know that I booked thru AAA? Reason I wonder is I would like to get an updated room cause the one thru AAA is just a standard Room and I would like to upgrade to a better room and dont want to pay the difference from what I paid for the AAA discount since that would be alot of extra money. but am willing to pay the difference from a standard room to a better one from their price since its only like 40 more a night. any help would be great thanks

Your room is paid for, doesn%26#39;t matter how. You shouldn%26#39;t be charged any more for the upgrade than the next guy. I%26#39;ve never had a problem.

that does not sound like a deal. I paid that much per person to go for a week and hald to all inclusive in Cancun. freedadogbrah look at travelzoo.com, southwest airlines, kayak.com.

How about telling us the dates for the trip and how many people it is for.

yes sorry that 1200 (its under 1200 i just rouned up) is for 2 people so price per person is just over 500 that is cheap room for the TI are around 700 for 4 days so im getting airfare for like 200 a person round trip non stop I would say thats a good deal also with good flight times early in and late afternoon out.

what are your dates? are you staying mon thru thurs, or are you staying over the weekend? staying during some kind event in the city, or nothing is going on. Hard to tell from your post

Its over the weekend 9th thru the 13th of Aug. There is alos some sort of convention that same weekend.

The convention doesn%26#39;t start till the 12th and it ain%26#39;t that big.There is a chance that room rates may come down a little for a couple weeks, especially for hotels further away from the convention center. You may be better off with room and airfare separate.

Agree with the thought of seperate air fare and hotel. Don%26#39;t know if your going to gamble but if you do the casino will not take care of your room if you book it with the airline. If you book through the casino you might get all or part of your room rate back, be sure to get a players card where your staying and have a host review your play BEFORE checkout. They can go back and pick up your eats and your room depending on your level of play. Also if you book with the hotel you can check back from time to time and if they offer a lower rate you can call and get the lower rate. Ask for a free room upgrade on checkin, maybe they will, maybe they won%26#39;t.
