grand canyon

I%26#39;m probably not the first to ask this question, but here goes...

We want a package where we fly from Vegas to the Canyon, take a helicopter to the base and maybe have a ride on a boat.

I%26#39;ve seen several such tours ... can anyone recommend a tour with details on how to book before I visit vegas.

You will pay top dollar (about $300 pp) for a helicopter trip. They are convenient, but they don%26#39;t give you much time at the Canyon, only an hour or so. The only way to do a raft trip through the main part of the Canyon takes many days. I don%26#39;t know of any that do a one day float trip.

I%26#39;ll give my standard recommendation. If you really want to see the Canyon, rent a car and make it an overnight trip. The Canyon deserves more time than the helicopter and bus tours offer.
