Hope your reunited with your jewelry. I quess this is just a reminder to all of us to leave anything of value at home when we travel.

I certainly wouldn%26#39;t wait to get an email response - I%26#39;d be on the phone!

We had that happen in NYC with nice clothes. We left them hanging in the closet. That evening, after we got home, we called guest services. We knew exactly where the clothes were.

Guest Services transferred us to housekeeping. Every person we spoke to said that we left nothing in the room. We know for a fact the clothes were left there. Two of the items were beautiful Ralph Lauren dress shirts and they were new!! That hurt. On top of that, we tipped housekeeping.

Let us know what happens. I wish you alot of luck.

just had an email back from the mirage, but they have not been able to find it in the room. i guess house keeping thought it was part of the tip. very dissapointed but did not spoil my holiday but a sad memory of one peice that had sentimental value rather than money value!

I am sorry you lost your jewelry and hope it is returned to you. I had some of mine come up missing in Reno NV. I foolishly left it in a little bag in the bathroom. My husband was asleep and I had gone down to gamble a little. Well, one thing led to another......my husband found me and we didn%26#39;t return to the room till noon or so. The room had been cleaned and the jewelry was gone. I reported it to hotel security. They acutally had me tell them where and what time I had last worn it in the hotel (which I knew because of a dinner reservation). Did no good, it was never recovered. Live and learn! I have also had prescriptions stolen from hotel rooms before. Not safe to leave anything of value or that is difficult to replace out in the open.
