Luxor room questions

Wondering how the rooms are at Luxor...Thinking about staying there but want to make sure they are decent rooms first...Thanks for the help

Luxor room questions

I%26#39;m interested too... I%26#39;ll be staying there for 4 nights (april 1-5) because of the very nice rate I%26#39;ve found (265 dollar, taxes included). I%26#39;m young and I love to stroll on the strip (been there once in 2005), considering the location of the Luxor that should be great :)

Luxor room questions

Gary, I have no idea what would constitute a ';decent'; room for you. The Luxor is not a dump, and it%26#39;s not a palace, if that%26#39;s what you%26#39;re asking. It is a very large hotel, so at any given time there are rooms that are in better condition than others. The rooms are average in size. I have stayed there twice and never had a problem with the rooms, though as with many hotels in Vegas the soundproofing left something to be desired.

If you have specific concerns I%26#39;ll be happy to try to address them.

Well just wondering which to stay in as the towers or pyramid rooms etc...I actually got two free nights there if I want and as long as it is fairly nice I would take them up on it...Right now I got a room at Mandalay Bay Gold room for 89 a night but might cancel and take the free room after I hear what people say about them....Thanks

Gary, I just stayed there with my wife for 3 days during Springbreak . We stayed on the 7th Floor in the East Tower. The room was a decent size with a nice bathroom. The bathroom had an oversized tub with seperate shower. Room was in good shape with nice furnishings. We had a good view of the Excalibur which was pretty at night. Pyramid rooms do not have a tub, just a shower. All tower rooms have tub with seperate shower. We have stayed here the last 2 years with no complaints.

also going to be there april1-6 can let you know when we get back

We stayed in August 2006 in a pyramid spa room. The room was huge; it had a seating area separated from the sleeping area. The bathroom was giant, as was the shower itself. We had a strip view, which was amazing because the spa rooms are in the corners of the pyramid. It was good to have a nice hot soak in the jacuzzi and look out over the strip. I believe we were on the 18th floor. Housekeeping was good, also punctual. The room showed a little bit of wear. As was said earlier, not a palace, but not a dump. Of course, we don%26#39;t spend a whole lot of time in the room when in Vegas, but we thought this was pretty nice.

Not sure exactly what your looking for.

We stayed in a Tower room last august. It was ...ok. Room very dark even with all the lights on. It was clean though and the bathroom was very nice. Stand alone shower and huge tub.

A/C never did work right the entire time we were there. No in room safes. We probably won%26#39;t stay there again.

Like i said~ it%26#39;s all in what your looking for.
