Do you suppose any of the hotels reads this form? Just for customer service issues.
dumb question?
haha that wasnt a dumb question ive never even thought of that. I guess they just might I dont see why not. but I really bet that they dont spend all that much time on here like we do LOL
dumb question?
A family member is a GM at a hotel in Myrtle Beach - he has someone assigned to review this and other travel forums once a week - the good and the bad are discussed at the various staff meetings -
My feeling is some if these posts are from such people.
Some of the local experts are or were casino/hotel employees. I am sure there are more lurking. Whether they read the forum for improving their properties or for fun is a different question. I would be encouraged if there were more management responses in the review sections.
If management is conscientious and really cares, my guess is that they definitely read their hotel reviews and maybe to a lesser extent this forum, too. There are some management types who like to hide their head in the sand and pretend that there%26#39;s nothing wrong. Those types probably don%26#39;t read TA at all. The only one I know of on the forum who definitely has a remote connection to anything is Melissa Lynn, whose husband works for MGM-Mirage%26#39;s corporate security department. OC Traveler has been accused of being a shill for the Platinum, which may or may not be true. Now, Lowrance and I do get kickbacks from the MGM for positive responses but it%26#39;s not much. It%26#39;s like one free buffet for every 50 positive mentions. (J/K, folks!)
In the past, there has been evidence that Las Vegas hotel management has read this forum at least occasionally.
SO far I have received NO response from ORLEANS concerning my observations of their reduced customer service operations.
Watered down drinks at the tables
Lack of drink girls on the floor today vs 3 months ago.
reduced maintenance people to fix room problems
Minimum staff in the cashiers cage.
Minimum staff at registration counter
Gigolo,
I don%26#39;t know how often you go to vegas or how many different hotels you have stayed in the past 2 years, but, I have some bad news for you.
All the mid price and low price hotels and casinos have reduced their service quality.
I guess they are not making as much money as they used to
gigolo,
Orleans management is too busy at customer service, delivering drinks, handling maintenance issues, making change and registering guests to review this forum:)
Gigolo,
It worked!!! They got you out of their casino.
Now they can go back to business as usual.
