Is the mild weather melting the snow?

Im coming to tahoe next week. (24th-31st)

Have/will the recent warm conditions affect the conditions dramatically? Excuse my ignorance, I just dunno how fast snow can melt.

Was at Northstar today. The snow looked much better than I thought it would since it%26#39;s been so warm. I was surprised at how low the snow still is in the mountains. We saw it all the was to Yuba Gap and then on the norht side of the mountians all the way to Emmigrant Gap.

The snow was good in the morning but then pretty slushy in the afternoon. It still looks pretty deep. No obstacles showing really.

Thanks suzie. Do you think it%26#39;ll hold up for another week? Or do you think we%26#39;ll start to see some damage?

It%26#39;s still freezing at night and there is still alot of snow. It should probably be ok for a week. It%26#39;s supposed ot cool down a little this week with a chance of precip about mid week.
