Make last visits plans at the New Frontier?

Seems like this may be going away. It is a dump, but is part of the history of the town that may be going away.

Make last visits plans at the New Frontier?

Don%26#39;t make any plans yet. There are only negotiations and they are not close to announcing a deal. That corner is going to be valuable and I expect a bidding war.

As long as some guy doesn%26#39;t pull a gun on me when I try to split my 10s at the BJ table, I will stop in one more time.

While I don%26#39;t mind the older girls like the Trop or Riv, I just never liked the look of the Frontier. It just seems a lot more worn than the others. I can%26#39;t say I will necessarily miss it like I miss the %26#39;Dust or the Ho. But it is the descendent of the second-ever casino on the Strip, so there is definitely some history there.

Many many years ago it wasn%26#39;t such a bad place. It was not fancy and it had almost a local feel to it. They had decent prime rib in the buffet and every Monday they had great rack of lamb for under $10. The waiting time was way over an hou for the buffet. It also had a great players club- they used to mail me deals every month with coupons, etc. The Atrium suites were decent. I can almost cry when I go there now. I still go because their VP machines have always been kind to me. I realize it is time to get rid of it but in a way I will miss it or the memories of it when it wasn%26#39;t so bad.

I%26#39;m just hoping they have an auction like the Stardust%26#39;s so that I can get the sigma derby table for my living room. It would make an AWESOME coffee table ;)

Oh, I completely forgot about sigma derby! I am going to miss that a lot. It is so much fun to play. Can I come to your house and play if you end up with it?

I think laurasue may have to out-bid jaco for that one. He loves the horsie racing games.

It still has some of the loosest slots. try the 3 sizzling sevens near the teller cage and bar, $1 machines, $2 max bet. One of the three machines is a progressive and they do spit $1 tokens.

Actually most of the dollar machines in that area do pay well.

It also has the quad 7 VP JOB machines. They are full pay (9/6) machines that pay for 4 7%26#39;s as if they were a straight flush. I have hit so many of them during the 15 years I have been going to Vegas. You can%26#39;t find them anywhere else.

When there in December I made a special effort to photograph the frontage - I love the Bingo and Dirty Girls signs ... won%26#39;t find that at the MGM!

All are welcome! I%26#39;ll give Jaco a run for his money :)

At least they also have it at MGM. It%26#39;s only a matter of time until it%26#39;s gone from Vegas forever *cry*
