Saw this mentioned on another board. Has anyone used this to get an '; A'; boarding pass on Southwest when they don%26#39;t have access to a computer on vacation? Sounds like a good idea for the trip home.

24 hours before scheduled flight, log onto southwest.com.

Fill in the reservation code %26amp; name. Hit the retrieve reservation button.

You have now checked in for your flight.

Go to file %26amp; print your boarding pass(es).

The earlier the better to get in the ';A'; section.

They charge $5- for their service, but a similar competing site called www.checkinsooner.com is offering to do it for free - they were discussed here a few days ago- don%26#39;t think anyone has tried them yet and reported. Check in Sooner apparently sells meberships to businesses but will do them for free for non- business customers- at least as an introductory offer.

I may try them in April, rather than have to get up at 6am to print my SWA boarding pass. Hopefully someone will try it before that and report.

wide____mouth-- the web site is boardfirst.com. Lulutoo-- I will check out the web site you mentioned. We are flying the middle of April and, like you, would like some more feed back on either web site. Te convenience is more than worth the $5 per person(but free is better).

I like to be in control of my own check in (I know what that makes me!! LOL), so I use my cell phone. If your phone is web enabled... go to mobile.southwest.com and you just put in your confirm number. Print the boarding pass at the airport either when checking bags or through a kiosk.....so easy. in order tyo do this you have to give a complete staranger personal info such as confirmation code, correct? WHY would anyone do this? if you are not near a computer 24 in advance, leave your info with a TRUSTED individual who will do it for you. you do NOT have to print the BP, just have someone check in - print the pass later.

i think only idiots would give confirmation codes and names to a stranger.
