Is it too far for a day trip?

We have to be back to Treasure Island to meet friends for dinner at 7/7:30.

Will we be exhausted to do that and eat and then piano bar afterwards?

It%26#39;s about a 330 mile round trip to Zion from Vegas. If you didn%26#39;t have your dinner arrangement and could afford to get back at 9/9.30 then I%26#39;d say it%26#39;s ok to attempt it. As it is, unless you leave Vegas at around 6am and be very tired by the evening, I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s worth it.

I%26#39;ve done it twice and was back in time. This is true if you don%26#39;t do a lot of hiking there.

It%26#39;s not too far if you%26#39;re fresh and start out early (figure on three hours driving each way). It%26#39;s a beautiful place and worth the extra effort to get there.

However, I wouldn%26#39;t do it if you%26#39;re out the previous night drinking and partying until 3:00 a.m. That might be too much.
