Do Ding rates ever go lower with another Ding rate?

Can you get a credit adjustment on a Ding rate?

If I booked a Ding rate and another lower Ding rate appears a few days or weeks later, do I have to book another seat with the new Ding rate and call CS for the credit adjustment?

Or do I just call CS to get a credit adjustment with my old reservation?

If you see a lower rate than one you booked you can use the old confirmation number and rebook the flight at the lower rate. I have done it before online.
