I%26#39;m renewing my vows in Vegas on July 23rd this year. Plan is to have my wife get her hair done that day either at a spa or one of the suggestions for hairdressers who come to the hotel room (which I received here!), then go to vows renewal followed by a Gondola ride at the Venetian, dinner at Mon Ami Gabi, and a night time helicopter ride.
Sound good? Any other ideas? Are these things close enough to where this could all be done in an afternoon/evening?
Romantic enough??I say the only thing left is to tell her that you love her....
Romantic enough??I think that sounds great! Will any family or friends be joining you? It might be fun to have some surprise ';guests'; at the vow renewal, but you%26#39;d have to be sure to make it clear that after the renewal that they%26#39;d make themselves scarce :)
sounds soooo romantic...and I agree with lowrance!
I think your plans are awesome. I just don%26#39;t think of Mon Ami as being very romantic. The tables inside can be very close together and it is not a quiet place. Our most romantic meal in Vegas was Alize at the Palms. We felt like we were the only ones there and the view was incredible. We have also celebrated special occaisions at Postrio at the Venetian (tables on the inside wall are most private) and at Nobhill in MGM. Mon Ami is great though, and we always go there every trip for lunch. Just my opinion. Have a wonderful time!
Lots of great picture places at the Venetian both inside and out.
Will she haev a bouquet? If not get her some flowers. Besure to keep it personel and memorable.
Well, you could always take her downtown to the Western, by her a can of beer and watch the homeless play penny slots....
Hey, what can I say...I am a hopeless romantic!
lol! j/k! Your plans sound great! Congrats!
The only thing I would add is a limo or cab ride between the Venetian an mon Ami Gabi - don%26#39;t make her walk all that way in heels!
Very sweet - congrats!
the helo ride is superb
i personally think the gondola is kind of tacky. it is in a mall - yes, you can go outside also. you are still in front a bunch of gawkers, rude people and it is just not romantic. i haven%26#39;t figured out why anyone would put themselves on exhibition like this - but they do. I have seen weddings performed on them, couples in wedding attire. it makes no sense to me.
others love it, and that%26#39;s great - something for everyone. if you decide you guys would like it i%26#39;m sure you will.
oh, dinner at The V - why go from one hotel to the other? MAG is Ok, not really romantic and you take a good chance of being with people dressed down - if that is OK, fine. I%26#39;d want a little nicer dinner place.
Oh geez, and I was just excited to get away from being '; Mom '; for a few days w/ my hubby. You are awesome! I thought my husband was romantic.....I guess he could use some lessons. Have a great time. Sounds you have it all covered.
