Poker Rate

for any of you guys who love poker like me, I finally decided t obook a a room using poker rate this past weekend and it was great.

This was a very expensie weekend with March Madness going on but the room rate I was charged for bellagio was $280 saturday and $150 sunday. I looked online and they were listing these rooms for $450 and $250 regular rate.

Only had to play 6 hours of poker per day, not a lot because you can split it with your roomate. Alsothey dont track the play closely, so 6 hours is really more like 4 hours.

Dont know if anyone on here even cares about poker, but if you do and never knew about the rate ( like I didn%26#39;t .. heh)I think from now on I will be trying to stay in the higher end hotels this way instead of searching for deals.

Poker Rate

It is easier to play less at Bellagio because they don%26#39;t do a good job tracking your play. Most everywhere else (Venetian, Wynn, Caesars, MGM, TI are the main ones) havegood ways of tracking the play by swiping your players club card. Bellagio, Mirage, Mandalay are places that don%26#39;t track it.

Badpoker so how did u get this rate? just call and ask for it and then your like on the honor system to play the 6 hours and if you dont you get charged the reg rate?? and at what tables do u need to play at? Will a $1 $2 limit table do? Thanks for the update

Vegas does not have 1/2 Limit games. The lowest game Bellagio spreads is 4/8 Limit or 2/5 No Limit.

This website will show you the games and poker rates that each hotels have.

The smallest limit game you will see is 2/4.

At MGM and TI- they swip your players club card at the table and can track you using you card.

At the Wynn, Caesars, and the Venetian- the will swipe you cards at either the place you sign up or near where you get your chips- then you goto the same places they will swipe you out when you are done. So they track your time just like MGM and TI.

Bellagio doesn%26#39;t have this in place.

Freedadog- Actually to get the rate I called the poker room directly (looked up the # online or yo ucould just call Bellagio main line and ask to be transferred to the poker room).

The 6 hour requirement is for any kind of table. Bellagio%26#39;s lowest limit is 4-8 limit and I think for NL the lowest game is a $200 buy in. I mostly played 4-8 and 8-16 limit games.

The play is not tracked through player card, you have to get a seperate card from the poker room and when you check in they just fill it out for you. When you leave they fill out how many hours you put in and sign their name.

Honestly 6 hours isnt hard because your roomate can also get a card tracked to your room, and they dont seem to make any attempt to track the accuracy of your play. When i turned in the card to the manager she didnt seem to even look at it and just said thanks it will be processed. So I think as mentioned here it really is just on the honor system. The poker rate price was already charged to me when i checked in, so it%26#39;s not like I got charged a higher rate first and had to formally get my rate discounted.
