yes, i lose much more often than i win. but on the rare occassion i will take away more than i started with.

Only once in over 5 years of gambling have I cashed out without ever having been in the hole. It was at Monte Carlo last year. I put a $20 into a multi-denom. machine, changed it to 2c, and it hit on the bonus round on the first spin, which was a 40c wager. When the bonus was over, I had turned 40c into $400, hit the cash out button and took my ticket! But that is the rare exception to the rule.

Switch to VP- payouts are much much better and it is more interesting. Or play the table games- anything but slots!!! Give them up!!!

I often lose at slots but there is no better feeling than putting a few coins in, pulling the handle and seeing 3 wheels line-up and a large dollar-figure pop-up in front of your face!

I don%26#39;t get that rush from table games, sometimes poker - when I go ';all-in'; on someone with my quad Cowboys and a lot of chips on the table, but not often.

Lovesevlis, I am with you on the slots, had a bad loosing streak my last trip, hoping 2007 is better. I tried VP and tables last time but lost everywhere. Oh well. Trying to forget about that...

By the way, what is the prior post about licking their card for luck? Their player%26#39;s card?

i have the worst luck with slots but i usually at least break even with video poker. between my video poker winnings and slot/roulette losses, i get decent bang for my gambling buck. :D

Just a running (or walking) joke for the people who are on this forum Way too much. A post talked about people holding player%26#39;s cards in their mouths and others who would lick them prior to putting the card into the machine to get them to work. We all know that it is really for luck and that is how you get the slots to payout.
