Paris hotel upgrades & food

HI :)

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting room upgrades at Paris? We are going april 2-7 :) also how are the restaurants at Paris? any recommendations?

I definitely recommend the Paris buffet for Breakfast. Fantastic selections! Have a great time.

Never tried to upgrade when I was there.

Very good meals at the buffet, St Louis Cafe, and Mon Ami Gabi gets high marks on this forum.

We had a P-room at Paris that was nice. Great view of the Bellagio fountains out both sets of windows, plenty of room, nice bathroom. It was a comp and the wanted to upgrade us to a Le Mans suite for $145 a night. The P room was free, so we stuck with that!

The restaurants there are great. The buffet is fabulous, especially for breakfast. The pastry shop is divine. Mon Ami Gabi is quite good also. The 24 hour place is very good as well.

Harrah%26#39;s as a company does not offer free upgrades for asking anymore except for large players. The do usually offer them for a fee if they are available.

So if your question of ';Luck'; means free or with a hidden $20 bill, you are out of luck. But all of the rooms are nice, even if they are slightly smaller than other hotels.

Many good restaurants to choose from there and because of the great location, it is an easy walk to other hotels and casinos.

We flew in from Manchester, UK and I used the airport check in place while my husband got the luggage. I requested a P room upgrade which is a corner room with double aspect windows and was granted it. Have stayed at Paris twice and waited in a long line at hotel to check in first time and then used the airport the second time and there was NO ONE in line at all. Good luck. It is a very nice hotel and casino.

Mon Ami Gabi, St. Louis Cafe, and the buffet are all great.
