Girls Just Turned 40!

Four girls will be in Vegas in May and we want to find a fun, hip , classy club and not feel like we are 4-----ish, and sure don%26#39;t look it. How about PURE or PLAYBOY?

Any thoughts?

Playboy isn%26#39;t really a club in the way that you%26#39;re thinking. At Pure you will feel like you%26#39;re 60.

You might want to check out some of the lounges like VooDoo Lounge and Ghostbar.

Yep, you%26#39;ll feel like their mothers at Pure.

As someone who is in my early 40%26#39;s I feel safe in saying you DO NOT want to go to any of the real popular clubs like Pure, Tangerine, Studio 54 (although this one you might get away with), Rum Jungle etc. etc because they are populated by people mainly under 25. You%26#39;re better off with one of the ultra lounges like VooDoo, Cleopatras Barge, Mix lounge, or Tabu.

You won%26#39;t feel out of place or old in any of these lounges but you will in the clubs (no matter how good you look!.)

Vegas is for the young and beautiful.

Try Laughlin. They have some nice buffets and slot clubs I hear.

Gee SNKFish, for someone as sensitive as you (based on your posts on the white capri thread), you sure came off pretty bitchy here!! As a guy in his 40%26#39;s, you better believe me when I say that women in their 40%26#39;s can certainly be ';young and beautiful.'; I don%26#39;t know anything about Laughlin, but people of any age who are young at heart fit into Vegas.

I am also going in May for our ';year of the 40th.'; Having been to Vegas six times in the last two years and also turning 40, I will not be going to most of those clubs. If anyone is struggling with the big 40, it will do more damage. =) We are a group of long time friends (since age 11), who have done much partying together, still THINK we look pretty good, but get humbled in those crowds.

The NY NY piano bar is a blast. They%26#39;ll play anything and a lot of 80s music.

On the other hand, the great thing about 40 is just being who you are and doing it wherever you%26#39;re so inclined. Enjoy.

PURE gets very crowded, and yes the average age is well under 40, but there will be many people 40 and older. Get a table on the Terrace, or find someone who invites you to theirs.
