Drinking!!!

I think I%26#39;ve asked this before...but can you really order anything to drink while playing slots or table games? I don%26#39;t usually drink while gambling, but in Vegas I do. Can you order mixed drinks? Bellinis, Martinis, any kind of wine, specialty coffees, Red Bull? Is anything free? Thanks!

Drinking!!!

Within reason, yes. Generally there are one or two main bars that the cocktail waitresses go to get your drinks. As long as you order something the bartender can serve up without an unusual amount of effort, and that doesn%26#39;t involve some rare and priceless spirit, you will probably get what you want. (A nice tip doesn%26#39;t hurt your odds either.) However, many casinos will refuse to bring you more than one beverage at a time.

In short, you can request a mixed drink with your favorite brand of premium vodka, but you might not be able to get Cristal in a flute glass. You can get wine, but probably only whatever the house wines are.

If you have your heart set on something more extravagant, expect to pay for it. A healthy $5 tip might be enough for a waitress to find a way to get you what you want and still be cheaper than ordering it at the bar yourself.

Also, know that blended drinks are a huge pain for bartenders to make when they%26#39;ve got 20 drinks to mix, so they may tell you that it is not an option if they%26#39;re busy. The easier the drink, the more apt they%26#39;ll be to cater to a request. (its a lot easier to get a premium rum %26amp; coke or vodka tonic than a complicated martini with more than a few ingredients)

i was never denied any kind of drinks, and sometimes i order odd stuff. A healthy tip will never hurt

Or they may tell you it is not an option because they have no blender. :)

(That%26#39;s the case at the bar at the LV Hilton where I play VP)

I had no problem getting cosmos while playing the penny slots at the Venetian. :)
