Trip Report--Excalibur 3/18-3/21--2nd Day

OK, we are all thinking our luck will change after the 1st day of lost luggage and stingy slots. But first, hubby and I decide to have a quick breakfast...oops, at the Excal buffet. Wrong move. Not good. But for $10 a person, hopefully comped, whatever. It was food.

Now, on to shopping! I will make this short for those of you reading this because it%26#39;s a trip report on Vegas, i.e. gambling. I get you. I really do. I was actually not really wanting to shop because it would cut into my gaming time. But I did get some good deals--oh, we went to the Las Vegas Outlet Center (formerly Belz). The problem...we were there for like 3 HOURS. Now I know how men feel most of the time. Except I was waiting on everyone, including my husband!! But, like I said, several new pairs of shoes and some new clothes...I probably would have lost at least that amount of money in the casinos. OK, so I talk everyone into eating our fancy meal at Mon Ami Gabi, due to all the great reports of it on this forum. So we decide we%26#39;ll walk there from Excal, just take our time and gamble in between. We get to Aladdin and go in to see all the changes. It will probably be pretty nice when they get done. Kind of a cool atmosphere. Lost more money. We get to Bally%26#39;s and I sit down to $10 BJ, where I cashed in for $40 and ended up with $125! That is always fun. We go on to Paris, and decide to actually look at the Mon Ami menu. I could tell everyone was a little unsure. All the sides cost extra, desserts, etc. and maybe this sounds like I%26#39;m a cheapskate, but I was like, ';why don%26#39;t we cancel here, go have dinner at the Paris buffet, and for $25 a person, we can try all sorts of new, French food, still have our seafood we%26#39;re all craving, prime rib (of course), and desserts?'; So that%26#39;s what we did. I don%26#39;t think anyone regretted it. All-you-can-eat King crab legs, prime rib, shrimp several different ways...huge buffet. It was awesome. So after that mind-numbing hog-o-mania, we all decided to try our luck downtown. Once again, if I had stuck to purely blackjack, I would be better off. We played that for several hours, it seems. But nothing hit for anyone on the slots. We come back to the hotel, hit the Krispy Kreme place since I%26#39;m sure I didn%26#39;t jam enough calories and fat down my throat and go to bed!
