I%26#39;ve searched pretty much every travel site for flights to Vegas for the second weekend in April (Fri - Mon) and am amazed at how expensive they all are. I%26#39;ve paid close to the same for air AND hotel packages for Vegas in the past.
Are there any sites in particular that have cheap Vegas flights??
Will fares be cheaper now or closer to the travel dates?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!
Suggestions for cheap airfare??I think you%26#39;re to late. In my recent experience, I%26#39;ve found that the prices do not go down, only up. I had heard that sometimes you can find last minute deals. About a month ago, I made a last minute decision, around 3 weeks in advance (same as you) that I would try to go to Vegas the second week in March. I looked and looked, right up until the date I wanted to leave, no luck. I didn%26#39;t go.
Suggestions for cheap airfare??Have you checked spirit airlines web site? I got great rates from Atlantic City to Vegas and I checked their site and they also fly from Boston to Vegas.
i put in for those dates on the JetBlue website and they gave me a rate of $403. That%26#39;s awesome considering it%26#39;s pretty much last minute. Have you tried them yet? What have other carriers been quoting you? I am curious.
Can you fly out Thursday night - that could make a difference in the rate. I also usually go on kayak.com. That sight will give you
the lowest on most airlines.
we are flying from Boston with America West (in September, so the rates won%26#39;t be helpful to you, but we did find them with kayak -- also try farecast -- it ';predicts'; whether the fare will go up), non-stop, and paying $280 per person. The flight to LV is on a Saturday morning, the flight back is on a Saturday night...
Try Site59.com, which has last minute packages sometimes at good prices. The flights usually are crummy times though.
At this point the rates will go up. Your within 21 days and that is one of the points where you will see an increase. Possible jump at 14 days, and a big jump at 7 days.
try www.allegientairlines.com
I payed round trip 178USD...norm from here is 400
Did you already book your hotel? I packaged mine together through Costco (which I believe is actually through US Airways vacation packages.) It was a lot less than purchasing together. (From Seattle obviously cheaper, but the cost of flights was like $50 a person once the hotel was subtracted)
