My best friend and I will be in Vegas mid-July. I would like to stay center Strip to walk as little as possible in the heat. If anyone has stayed at Bally%26#39;s, Flamingo or Treasure Island recently, what are your opinions? Thanks for the help!
Hotels for Vegas in July
City,
I have stayed at TI twice (and will be staying there again this June) and think it%26#39;s a pretty good hotel. I liked it better than the Mirage, NYNY, and Mandalay Bay. It%26#39;s got a good location, the rooms are very nicely decorated, the beds are super comfy, the bathrooms are a nice size, they have a variety of great dining options, and if they screw up they really do try to make things right. If I can answer any other questions for you, please let me know. : )
Hotels for Vegas in July
Me and a friend will be going to Vegas July 14-21st. After reading reviews and so forth, we are going to be staying at The Flamingo. One main reason is the pool. I have heard nothing about great things about their pool. This will be our first time, so we are hoping we made the right decision in choosing the Flamingo for our trip.
Have stayed at all 3 and prefer the TI far and away....EXCEPT...
for the pool...flamingo has a great pool, one of the best and i do like th eplaces it is next to a bit better, for me a bit more in the middle of things (just a bit) than TI.
However, rooms and service are better at TI.
Of those, I have only stayed at Bally%26#39;s (2004) but we will be back in July. We visited the casino there last year though we didn%26#39;t stay in the hotel. Location is great and the price is usually a bit lower than others in the immediate area (Paris, Bellagio, etc.). We never had a problem with cleanliness or anything like that. All the staff we%26#39;ve encountered have been helpful.
Ballys pool lacks a lot, and it is summer....but rooms are pretty good size. Flamingo has a great pool, great location, some of the rooms probably a bit shabbier, but I love the Flamingo. We usually stay there however are staying at Caesars this July. TI is just not center strip, probably good choice however I wouldn%26#39;t pick it due to location.
Ballys is nice but the pool is just ok. the rooms at ti are a little smaller but more elegant. The pool at ti is quite small. Why dont you check out Monte Carlo, center strip, nice rooms and a great pool area and they usually have pretty good rates.
True, the pool at Bally%26#39;s is on the small side, but it%26#39;s also one of the deepest in Vegas. You can actually swim in it.
Staying at TI the 23rd through the 27th of July with my wife for a ';3rd honeymoon';.
Flamingo has a great pool but i would choose TI center strip.
Thanks everybody! I really appreciate your opinions. Its nice to have the problem of trying to decide where to spend 5 days in Las Vegas!
