Free Cigars?

Do casinos still give out free cigars? and if so - do you just ask the cocktail waitress for them?

Do you have to play a higher limit table to get them?

If you can get them anywhere and at any table... where are the best, and do you request certain types?

Thanks in advance.

Free Cigars?

I have never seen this, but I would guess that if you gamble about one thousand times what a cigar is worth on your player%26#39;s club card, you could probably get a free cigar from a casino host.

Free Cigars?

Free cigars??? Heck no!!!

well, right here: www.lasvegas.com/traveltips/tips/index.html

it says

Free cigars, you say? The next time you%26#39;re passing time at the tables or machines and ordering those free drinks, don%26#39;t forget to ask for a free cigar. Several hotels have been known to keep some of those trendy little incendiary devices on hand for just such an occasion. It%26#39;s still recommended that you tip the cocktail waitress.

They stopped doing that a long time ago - unless you were a really high roller they were pretty bad cigars anyway

actually, back in October, I asked my cocktail waitress at the Barbary Coast while playing roulette if there was a place to buy them...she came back with 2 Fuente churchills. I had been there for a little over an hour playing $10 a spin...I dont think that its very very common, though.

I have heard people say they asked and they showed up with them - hense the question.

I don%26#39;t mind buying my own, but just like everything else... if I can ask and receive ... why not.

Was really wanting to hear people that had an experience like the above, stating they asked and were brought some.

Thanks.

ah, just dive in and ask!

order your drink, and then tag on ';oh, do you have any cigars available?'; in a pleasant manner. the waitress will let you know if there%26#39;s freebies available.

definetly going to give it a try.

** puff puff **

They%26#39;ve always had them - people just don%26#39;t realize it and never ask.

Its worth a try but dont get your feeling hurt if they say no.

I saw a guy ask this at a craps table and the CW offered to go and purchase one for him at the casino cigar store.
