My DH and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary at Bellagio at the end of May. We are sooo excited to be staying there and have some general questions I hope you experts on here can help with! :)
First of all – we will be arriving late (10:30pm). Does Bellagio offer Check In at the airport or is it better to wait to get to the hotel? That way we can ask if they have any upgrades available? Also, is a cab the best way to get here?
Second - how are the pools there? Is it difficult in finding chairs after say, 10 am?
Third – room service for breakfast – worth it or no? I am thinking I would rather try the buffet both here and Paris , but the thought of a leisurely breakfast in bed the morning of our anniversary also sounds appealing.
Thanks a lot for all your help!!!!
Couple of Bellagio Questions
1) No airport check-in. Take a cab and tell the driver to go via Paradise and Flamingo to avoid Strip traffic.
2) Pools are great. No problem finding a chair though you may have to go to one of the smaller pools rather than the main one.
3) It%26#39;s your anniversary - of course it%26#39;s worth having room service for breakfast!
Have a great trip and happy anniversary......:-)
Couple of Bellagio Questions
Hi stayed at the Bellagio approx 18 months ago and really enjoyed it. Dont think they are very forthcoming with upgrades but always worth a try. If you want a fountain view i would go ahead and book. The pool area is fabulous - only open to those staying there so always found loungers available. Why not arrive in style and have a limo seeing as you are celebrating your 10th wedding anniversary - congratulations to you both. If not a taxi is the best idea. Enjoy your trip.
Just got back from 8 nights there. Pool was great, finding chairs require walking around for a little while but you%26#39;ll find them. People just throw their towels on them and leave, hate that.
It was my 10 year anniversary as well, let them know that and you%26#39;ll receive a little gift, perfume. I got a complemantary upgrade to fountain view after doing a little haggling and showing them a $50 bill. After receiving the upgrade, slip the person the $50 and off we went. Obvioulsy not guarenteed but just worked for us.
Room service was great. We hasd it a few times. A little more $ than the cafe but hey, it%26#39;s your anniversary. ENJOY!!
Forget the room service breakfast and go to Cafe Bellagio one morning instead. You look right at the conservatory and the food is fantastic. Breakfast ran us $66.
Our breakfasts in Cafe Bellagio weren%26#39;t nearly that expensive so Chris, please don%26#39;t think that all Cafe Bellagio breakfasts are that pricey, because they aren%26#39;t and don%26#39;t have to be. We also found the room service menu and prices to be the same as those in Cafe Bellagio. We had room service breakfasts more than once. We had a lakeview room and ate in front of the window one evening and watched the fountain show while we ate. It was like being in our own private dining room, loved it!
sometimes a late check in works to your advantage for an upgrade, depending of course how full the Hotel is....Pool area at The B is one of the best, very upscale and lots of choices. We also love the poolside dining there.
YES on the room service! Always a treat and just like Gabby said, same price as the Cafe, just add the service fee...a couple dollars.
Thanks for all the responses! I can%26#39;t wait!
We were suprised as to just how many pools there were...beautiful area. We stayed in the spa tower so were able to take the elevator directly down to the pool area. No problems finding chairs. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant next to the pool area...food reasonable and something we don%26#39;t get to often do in the Northwest...dining outside for breakfast.
