I%26#39;m planning a bachelor party for party of 8 guys. I just booked one bedroom suite at the signature MGM. Are they pretty strict about the number of guests per room? Do they actually enforce it?
Bachelor Party
MGM is one of the largest hotels in the world, they are not spending a lot of time following their guests around. However, if you ask for 8 keys they are probably going to knwo something%26#39;s up. Also, the housekeeping staff will be able to see that there are 8 guys staying in your room. If you tip real well maybe they will let it slide.
Alternatively, you could get two rooms in a hotel you can actually afford, and not have to live in fear of being caught breaking the rules. No matter how beautiful the room is, having 8 guys in it is not going to be very comfortable.
Bachelor Party
You sure you want to do this - book a room with 1 bed and 1 pull-out couch for 8 guys? Wouldn%26#39;t it be better to get two rooms with a total of 4 beds somewhere cheaper?
As long as you guys don%26#39;t mind sleeping on the floor, then it%26#39;s not a problem. Most hotels don%26#39;t check. We used to do this all the time when I went with my buddies back in college,.....cram a bunch of us in 1 room! Who hasn%26#39;t done this at one time or another???? The only thing that might seem fishy, as stated, is if you ask for that many room keys at the same time. Just get 2 or 3 when you check in and then go back later on to get the rest and tell them you lost it.
Sounds like a bad plan. I like the Signature but I wouldn%26#39;t like it for a bachelor party. Everything that is great about the Sig doesn%26#39;t really work for a bachelor party.
If I were you I would book something drectly at MGM Grand and get two rooms. Four guys to a room is okay - eight is a weak idea.
Depending what the budget is, it might be best just to book the Marquee Suite at MGM. I did that 2 years ago for a bachelor party. We had over 10 guys in that room.
Or just do what everyone else said and book 2 standard rooms...
I think you want to be at a different hotel for a bachelor party. I would look into a strip hotel with a casino that is closeto other casinos you may want to hit at some point during your trip. I stayed at NYNY for a bachelor party and that was a great time. You could get 2 rooms- 4 guys to a room. TI, Palms, Hard Rock are other hotels to look at.
