2 Aussies coming to Vegas for 21st birthday on 4th July!!!

My Boyfriend and I are travelling from Australia to Las Vegas for my 21st Birthday which is on the 4th of July this year.

Can anyone tell me what they recommend in the way of Restaurants for dinner on this night( any have great views of fireworks) We are thinking of going to The Effie tower restaurant from research we have done on the internet.

Also the best night spots? I like cocktail lounges and Dance music and my boyfriend is more into Pubs and rock music. We don%26#39;t really no what celebrations to expect for the 4th of July in America? Information on that would be great : ).

Thank you,

Unfortunately Las Vegas doesn%26#39;t really do much celebrating on the 4th - here%26#39;s a list of last year%26#39;s events

Although the fourth of July is celebrated in most American cities that is not the case in Vegas. There is nothing great going on. The Strat might have a few fireworks (not necessarily on July 4th) and maybe another casino- but the fireworks will be really lame-nothing worth seeing. The real fireworks displays will be off strip in the residential areas. This is from last year but it will give you an idea of how the 4th is not celebrated on the strip:

I have eaten at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant (and also TOW-Strat). The views from these two restaurants are great but the food was just O.K. I was very disappointed. You can go up the Eiffel Tower or the lounge at the Strat for the views without having to spend the money on the food.

BrisBeccie,

I am going to be there for my anniversary on the 4th of July! Good luck and have fun!

Unfortunately, it doesn%26#39;t look like much goes on in the way of fireworks and whatever. But that%26#39;s OK! You%26#39;ll have a great time anyway because it%26#39;s Vegas!

PS: ';...my 21st Birthday which is on the 4th of July this year.'; Is it normally on a different day? ;)

Hi my wife %26amp; i went to Vegas in October 2006 we are from Brisbane

Australia. The best 3 restaurants we had eaten at was Le Cirque at

the Bellagio ,Voodoo lounge %26amp; cafe at the Rio %26amp; the IEFFEL TOWER restauant at the Paris.

They all have great views, great meals ,for something very special

you can not get better.

PS we are booked to go back in June for 2 weeks .

GO YOU GOOD THING.

The 4th is not that big in Vegas- last year Caesars shot up some fireowrks, but generally the city had the biggest display. I was in Vegas last year.

You may want to goto

You can look into the clubs and determine what you wantto visit- they have reviews, hours of operations, and prices aboutthem and restauraunts as well.

Thanks for all the information! Can%26#39;t wait to go. only 3 more months.
