Harvey's/Harrah's Tahoe

Harveys/Harrahs will not take reservations for their suites. I guess you have to request it upon arrival. We are arriving on a Tuesday in mid April (slow season). Of course tipping is always helpful, but does anyone know a good way to get into a suite? This is a special occasion for us and any advice is much appreciated.

Mid April is spring break for many around here. Easter Sunday is the 8th. Many kids have the week after plus travel days so it may be slow or it may be busy.

You%26#39;ve called them and they would not give you a reservation for a suite? Never heard of that. Do they have any available? Maybe they are sold out for suites.

Hi Suzie,

thanks for the input. We were married at Harvey%26#39;s seven years ago and had no problem getting a suite. I called and was informed that you do indeed have to request your room type at time of check in. We%26#39;re going after the kids are back in school. In fact, I was told by the reservations clerk that the hotel should be quite slow at that time (especially if the snow keeps disappearing) and they might upgrade us for free or a small charge. I was just hoping there was another way to guarantee it.

I do hope you are able to get the suite but I still have not heard of that arrangement before.

It%26#39;s expected ot snow several days next week. It%26#39;s also supposed to be cloudy with a bit of wind for the rest of the week so with any luck the snow won%26#39;t be disappearing until after the season closes later in April!!!

Thanks Suzie!! I%26#39;ll let you know how it turns out.
