Hi All - Just a bit of an odd question for anyone who has stayed at Treasure Island recently. Do you happen to recall what kind of hair dryer was in the room? I have a travel size 1875 watt dryer that I am trying to avoid having to pack (want to travel light w/carry-ons only). I%26#39;m hoping they don%26#39;t have the type that are mounted on the wall. Thanks for your help.
Hair dryer at TI
I seem to remember that they are those little one mounted to the wall. The rooms have been renovated you may want to call and ask to be sure.
Hair dryer at TI
I, too, think I remember them being mounted to the wall. I don%26#39;t really care for them, so I bring my own. Of course, you%26#39;re talking about someone who brings two huge suitcases to Vegas for a 5 night trip...lol!!
Great - thanks Sharon and LovinLasVegas!
There are hair dryers in almost every major hotel in Vegas
Thanks MusicMan - I am aware that there are hair dryers in most hotels in Vegas. This is my 6th visit to the city. My question was specific to TI.
Two new threads in the space of 30 minutes specifically referring to 1875 watt hairdryers. Now that%26#39;s spooky....:-)
As I said in the MGM thread, call the hotel and ask. This hairdryer business seems deadly serious to some people so it%26#39;s better to get a definitive answer to your question rather than relying on people%26#39;s memories of previous visits.
ya whats the big hair dryer deal so many questions about them whats the diff between a wall one or a hand held other than watts just dry it longer and how big is it if ur worried about packing light I mean the dryers ive seen are pretty small and fold in half even??? Thank goodness im am a guy WOW..
Thanks Blagger - that is spooky! Just thought I%26#39;d check with the TAers first, but I%26#39;ll give the hotel a call.
Being a guy, it doesn%26#39;t matter much, but, when I last stayed at TI they were pretty standard ones on the wall.
I would say, don%26#39;t pack the hairdryer - you will need the space to haul the loot you win back home.
Just plan on taking longer to dry hair if you can.
They are the stuck to the wall travel size. I%26#39;m very fussy about doing my hair and hair dryers, but the one at TI is fine with me. Save the room in your bags and use theirs. The climate in Vegas is different and your hair will turn out no matter what hair dryer you use.
